Emerging artist Linda J. Kirk
Linda has been working in a variety of artistic Medias her whole life.
Her influence began with quilting, by her grandmother, who also taught her to crochet and sew and 4-H.
Beginning in grade school with girl-scout crafts and art classes in middle school, Linda has enjoyed the many aspects of the art world. As an adult she tried many things but focused on quilting beginning in 1990, at the quilt show in Houston she was introduced to polymer clay, which led her to meet Gail Stouffer with whom she discovered dichroic glass and metal clay.
In 2000 Linda, became one of the founding members of the San Antonio Polymer Clay Guild (SAPCG).
In 2008 Linda, became one of the founding members of the San Antonio Metal Clay Guild (MCASA), where she is currently active as a Board Member.
Linda is also a member of the National PMC Guild. Linda is Certified PMC Artist in Level I and Level II, and soon to be Level III Certified.
Member of San Antonio Glass Art Guild (SAGAG)
Linda is an emerging Glass Artist, currently she is enrolled in an intermediate kiln formed glass seminar.
Linda has studied with the following artists:
